ABOUT
Our History
In the 1920's the building housed a speakeasy, paving the way for Miss Ann's Tic Toc Bar and Restaurant in the 1940's. At the time, Macon became the heart of the soul music movement in the Southeast. Little Richard played his first shows within the walls of Miss Ann's. Others, like James Brown, Ottis Redding and Johnny Jenkins also played within these walls. Today, we pay homage to Tic Toc's musical past by honoring the great musicians of Macon and encouraging our patrons to showcase their musical talent.
